Outlook: Back-to-back runner-up honors at the state meet have highlighted a strong run for the Seahorse boys. But the graduation of Simon Kissam and Kent Ford, a pair of top-five finishers at states in 2018, leave BHS searching for depth. Wondu headlines the returnees with a batch of upperclassmen joining the varsity ranks, Robitaille said. On the girls side, BHS has returned its top three runners — Vivanco, Barker and Massey-Bierman all earned top-15 spots at states a year ago — while a handful of freshmen and sophomores have already made an impact in the first week-plus of 2019.
