Seahorse Pride was initially established as the Booster Club to assist BHS clubs and programs achieve success by assisting them raise the needed funds that fall outside the normal school budget. The funds are raised through general donation solicitation from area businesses, families and individuals and from concession stand sales at sporting events throughout the school year. During the past twelve months Seahorse Pride has provided over 20 clubs and organizations over $20,000 to help defray the costs of some programs.
Seahorse Pride meets the first Monday of the month (except September and March when meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month) in the BHS library at 6 pm and all are welcome – see the school calendar for specific dates and times.

BHS Seahorse Pride is also encouraging local businesses to become official sponsors of the BHS Pride Team. Our new approach to fundraising allows businesses to show their support for student involvement in BHS co-curricular activities by becoming a sponsor. Top level sponsors will get to display a banner showing their support for our Seahorses. More information about the sponsorship tiers will be available at the concession stand at the D. G. Weaver Athletic Complex.
