Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, Burlington School District will begin using ParentSquare, a communication platform designed to keep you informed and engaged with your child’s education.
How You Will Receive Information: ParentSquare is designed to be flexible and accessible for every family. You can choose how you receive updates—whether it’s by phone, text, or email. While there is a ParentSquare app and website available to keep all school alerts, newsletters, and calendars in one convenient place, creating an account is completely optional. You will still receive all essential communications even if you choose not to use it.
What to Expect:
- Full Launch: Most families will receive login information and setup details in August 2026.
- Early Access: Some families may be invited to participate in small pilot programs and might begin receiving communications through ParentSquare earlier than August.
- Features: Once active, you can use the platform to message teachers, sign up for conferences, view the school calendar, and more.
