Barre Town Middle School – Drive to Barre on Route 302 and follow Main St (Rte 302) through town. At the traffic light turn right onto Route 14 south. Go 0.7 miles and turn left onto Quarry Hill, which is just after the State Farm Insurance Company sign. Go up the hill for 1.4 miles to a cemetery. Take a left onto Websterville Rd and go 0.5 miles. The school is on the right.
Bellows Free Academy – Coming from Exit 18 on Interstate 89, take the US 7 / VT 104 exit [Exit 18] toward Georgia Center / Fairfax. Turn Right onto US 7 – 0.1 miles. Turn Left onto VT 104A / Highbridge Rd. Continue to follow VT 104A – 4.5 miles. Turn slight right onto VT 104 / Main St. – 1.4 miles. Turn right onto Hunt St. – 0.3 miles. Turn right to stay on Hunt St. – 0.1 miles.
Bolton Valley (Nordic Skiing) – From I-89, Take Exit 10 ( Waterbury ). Follow US Rte. 2 West 8 miles to the Bolton Valley Access Road.
Burke Mountain Academy – Take Rte 2 East to St Johnsbury and pick up I-91 North. Take I-91 North to Exit 23. At the end of the ramp, take a right onto Rte 5 North. Stay on Rte 5 through Lyndonville. The junction with Rte 114 is about 0.7 miles North of the center to Lyndonville. Go North on Rte 114 to East Burke. Take a right onto Mountain Rd at the sign for Burke Mt Ski Area. Go 1.8 miles up Mountain Rd. Burke Mtn Academy will be on your right.
Burr and Burton – From the north (Rutland, Middlebury, Burlington), Take Route 7 South. Just past East Dorset, yield right onto Route 7A. Take 7A through Manchester, past Northshire Bookstore at blinking yellow light; continue straight by outlets and through roundabout. Just past Mark Skinner Library on your right, turn right onto Seminary Avenue. If you pass the Equinox Hotel on 7A, you’ve gone too far and should turn around. Once on Seminary Ave., you will see the school on the hill in front of you. Pass school buildings and turn right immediately after large newer stone building (the Smith Center for Science and Communications) onto main school driveway. Park anywhere behind buildings.
Burr and Burton – Apple Jack Field at Dana Thompson Recreation Field – Come into Manchester on route 7A. As you are coming down Main Street you will come to a blinking light. At this light take a right onto route 30 north toward Dorset (this is just before the Northshire Bookstore). Go about 1 mile and the entrance to the park is on your right. The park is called Dana Thompson Recreation Park.
Burr & Burton – Riley Ice Rink – Route 7 South to East Dorset. Approximately 1/2 mile after you pass the East Dorset General Store there is a cut-off for Historic 7A on your right. Veer right onto Historic 7A south. Go 3.5 miles and look for Hunter Park Road on your right. (There is a sign about 200 yards before the road). Go right and follow signs to complex.
Catamount Family Center – Take I-89 North to the Richmond/Williston Exit. Take Rte. 117 going towards Essex Junction. Go four miles and then turn right up the hill onto Sand Hill Road . This will bring you to Rte. 15 at which point you should go left towards Essex Junction for ¼ to ½ mile. Make a right hand turn onto 128 going North. Follow Rte. 128 for approximately ten miles until it runs into Rte. 104. Just before the intersection, the game field is on the left.
Champlain Valley Union High School – I-89 North to Exit #12. Turn left at end of ramp onto Rt. #2A. Go to “T” in road and bear left onto Rt. 116. Go to traffic light, turn left at light. School on left.
Alternate Directions to CVU HS – From I-89: Exit 11 for Richmond. Take US Route 2 east to town of Richmond. At traffic light, turn right onto Bridge Street. Bridge St becomes Huntington Rd. Follow this road for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Sherman Hollow Road (there are also signs for Birds of Vermont Museum and Green Mountain Audubon Nature Center). Sleepy Hollow is 1.8 miles up Sherman Hollow Road on the left.
CVU Gymnastics, Green Mountain Gymnastics, Williston – From I-89 North: Take Exit 12. Turn Right and go to the next traffic light (intersection of Rte 2A and Marshall Ave). Take a Left onto Marshall Ave (Toys R Us is on the Left). Go through 3 sets of lights and take a Left just past the Federal Express onto Boyer Circle. At the stop sign on Boyer Circle, bear Left. Our building is located on the Left directly between Emery Worldwide and Commercial Tire.
CVU Hockey (Cairns Arena) – From Southern VT: Take Route 7 North to Swift Street. Turn Right onto Swift Street (Denny’s is on your Left) and follow Swift Street to the intersection of Swift and Spear Street. Head straight through the 2 sets of lights into Dorset Park. The Arena is on your Left.
Colchester High School – Take I-89 North. Take Exit #16 at Colchester/Winooski and turn right (North) on Rt 7. Go through Sunny Hollow and at top of hill turn left onto Blakely Road. Go approx. three miles on Blakely and Laker Lane is on your left at a Yellow Blinking Light. School is located at the end of the road.
Essex Middle School – Take I-89 North to the Williston Exit (Exit 11). Get off the exit and take a right and then another immediate right onto River Rd. Follow River Rd to 5-corners in Essex. Take a Right onto Rte 15. Follow Rte 15 for several miles to Essex Center. Bear right to stay on Rte 15 and then take a right onto Sand Hill Rd. The Middle School is on Founders Road which will come up on your right.
Essex High School – I-89 North to Exit 11. Take a right and then an immediate onto the river road towards Essex. At the “FIVE CORNERS” in Essex Jct. turn right onto Rt. 2A – take first right over railroad tracks and quick left. School entrance is ¼ mile on your right.
Hardack Ski Area (Nordic Skiing) – From I-89 take Exit #19. Proceed to first intersection and go right onto Rte. 104 North. Go 6/10 of a mile, come to a blinking light, and continue on 104 N for another 6/10 mile. As you approach interstate overpass, take a left onto Congress St . Take an immediate right and go through gate and down a winding hill. Parking lot in front of you for recreational ski area.
Hartford Union High School – Take I-89 South to Interstate 91 North and take White River Jct. Exit (Exit #11 off I-91). Go right off the ramp onto Route #5 North. Drive straight through first set of lights. At the 2nd set of lights, take a left turn (still on Route 5N) across a 4-lane bridge. At the next intersection with traffic lights, go straight through up the hill. Hartford High School is at the top of the hill, turn left onto Hebard Ave. – school is on your right.
Harwood Union High School – Take I-89 North to Exit #10 ( Waterbury). Turn left off the ramp and proceed to intersection of Route 2 (T in the road). Turn left onto Route 2 south and proceed through downtown Waterbury. Turn right onto Route 100 South. Travel approximately 6 miles and school is on your left.
Harwood softball games are played at Rowe Fields (Recreation Park)
– Take I-89 North to Exit #10 ( Waterbury). Turn left off the
ramp and proceed to intersection of Route 2 (T in the road). Turn left onto
Route 2 south and proceed about 300 yards (before the Train Trestle)
and turn right into park.
Highgate Sports Arena – From I-89: North or south on I-89 to Rt-78 east (exit 21). Turn left on Gore Rd./Rt-207 at Highgate Center. Arena will be on Gore Rd./Rt-207.
Lake Region Union High School – Take Rte 14 to Hardwick. Go right onto Rte 15 East. Go for 2 miles until you hit Rte 16 North. Take Rte 16 North for 22 miles to Barton. Take a left onto Rte 5 North and go for 3.8 miles. Turn left onto Lake Region Rd and go under I-91. Go 0.5 miles up a hill and the school will be on the left.
Lamoille Union High School – Rt. #100 North through Stowe Village into Village of Morrisville. At blinking light, turn left. Continue to the junction of Rt. #100 and Rt. #15, turn left. Stay on Rt. #15 West for about 3 miles. School will be on the right.
Lyndon Institute – I-89 South to Exit #10. Follow Rt. #2 to #91 North in St. Johnsbury. Take Interstate #91 North to Exit 23 (Lyndonville). At end of ramp, turn right and then directly after that turn left onto Back Center Rd. (Day’s Inn on the corner). At stop sign, statue of large pig (in spring and fall is a water fountain). Go through stop sign. School is on the left.
Field Hockey and track meets are held at the field that is on the left side just past the small island on left.
The gym is located by turning left at the island; go up hill to just past the school building on right. Parking lot is on right and entrance to gymnasium is off the parking lot.
Main Street Middle School (Montpelier) – Rec. Field: From Main Street in Montpelier , follow signs to Rte. 12 North. ( Elm Street ). Rec. Field is about .5 miles on the right.
Montpelier High School – Located just off Barre-Montpelier Road near Exit 8 on I-89. Follow Rte. 302 North through Montpelier. MHS is on the right before entrance to I-89.
Milton High School – Take I-89 North to Exit 17. Left off the exit ramp, and then at the light turn Left onto Route 7 North. Travel approximately 3 miles on Rt. 7 into Milton. Rebecca Lander Drive is on your left.
Ice Hockey games are played at the Highgate Arena: Take Exit #21 off I-89 North – turn right (Route 78 East) off ramp – Rink is in Highgate Center (5 miles from exit) – turn left at blinking light in Highgate – rink is on your left 200 yards from Rt. 78.
Mississquoi Union High School – Take I-89 North to Exit #21. Turn Right onto Rt. 78 East. School access road (Thunderbird Drive) is on left approx. 1/4 mile from exit ramp. Ice Hockey is played at Highgate Ice Arena – Exit #21 off I-89 North – turn right (Route 78 East) off ramp. Rink is in Highgate Center (5 miles from exit). Turn left at blinking light in Highgate. Rink is on your left 200 yards from Rt. 78.
Morse Farm – From Montpelier : Drive North on Main Street through the roundabout and up the hill. Main Street becomes the County Road . Follow signs to Morse Farm (approx. 3 miles.)
Mt. Abraham Union High School – Summer Route: Rte 2 East to Rte 100B. Turn Right and go 7.7 miles until you join Rte 100. Follow Rte 100 Through Waitsfield – about 5 miles. Turn onto Rte 17 West for 15 miles. Left onto Rte 116 South in Bristol. 3.8 miles to the school on the right.
Winter Route: I-89 to Exit 13. Take I-189 West to Rte 7 South. Go 24 miles to New Haven. Turn left onto Rte 17 east. Go 4 miles, straight through a traffic light, onto Rte 116 North. Go about 1.5 miles and then turn left at the top of a hill. The school is on your left.
Mt. Hor – Lake Willoughby – From Barton, take Rt. 5 South. Go through Lake Willoughby and watch for signs for Mt. Hor.
Mt. Mansfield Union High School – I-89 North to Exit #11 ( Essex Junction). Turn right off ramp and then turn right onto Rt. #117. At the Barber Farm Rd., turn right. Go into the center of Jericho, School is on the right. OR Rt. #2 West into Village of Richmond. At traffic light turn right onto Browns’ Trace Rd. Continue until you see the school on the right – through Village of Jericho.
Directions to the Range for Nordic Ski – Get off I-89 at Exit 11. Go to Route 117 West heading toward Essex. After 2.4 miles there will be a farm on your right. Turn right at the farm. After you’ve gone 2 ½ miles, there will be a “T” in the road. Take a left at the “T” and go through Jericho Village. Approximately ½ mile after the village, turn right onto Ethan Allen Road and follow signs to the Ethan Allen Firing Range.
North Country Union HS – Take Rte 2 East to I-91. Take I-91 North to Exit 27. Get off and turn onto Rte 191 north. Go 2 miles. Turn right at the second light and go straight through another set of lights. Immediately afterwards there will be a NAPA Auto Boyd sign on the right. Take a left there and go under an old railroad bridge. Take an immediate right onto Park Street. At the top of Park St, turn onto Duchess St. The School will be 100 yards beyond on the right. Ice Hockey is played at the Ice Haus Arena at Jay Peak Resort, 4850 VT Route 242, Jay, VT 05859.
Northfield High School – Take I-89 South to Exit #5. Go right off the ramp onto Route #64 West. Drive approximately 3 miles to a stop (T in the road). Turn Right (Rt 12 north) toward Norwich University and downtown Northfield. At the first traffic light, turn left and follow the signs to the high school. OR Take Rt. #12 South. At traffic light at top of hill in Northfield, turn right. Bear right onto Carpenter St./Cemetery St. High school is on left just past cemetery. Turn left onto Cross St.; Middle School is on the right. When exiting turn left out of parking lot onto Vine St. and continue straight to traffic light to return to Rt. #12 North.
Memorial Field: From the North on Rte. 12: Go straight through the first set of lights in Northfield instead of turning. About 0.2 miles after the lights you will come to another set of lights in the center of town. Turn left (first left) onto East Street . Past the Police Department go up the hill until you come to a “Y.” Turn left onto King Street and go 0.4 miles to the field.
From the South on Rte. 12: When you get into Northfield , turn right at the light onto East Street . Follow the directions from East Street above.
The Falls – Take Rte 12 south to the Falls General Store. Take a left onto Gould Rd. Follow road to the end.
Oxbow High School – Take Rt. #302 East to Rt. #25 South to Rt. #25B. Turn left from Rt. #25B onto Rt. #5 North. Go through Village of Bradford. School is on the left. Gymnasium is in the rear of the school building.
Peoples Academy – Follow Rte 100 North into Morrisville. At the blinking light keep going straight. Then bear left onto Park Avenue. Take an immediate right onto Copley Avenue. Go straight to get to People’s Academy.
Randolph Union High School – Take I-89 South to Exit #4. Go right off the ramp onto Route #66 West. Drive straight through the first intersection (Rte 12) and go into downtown. At the stop sign turn right (SHARP TURN) onto Forest Street. The High School is on your right.
Rice High School – I-89 North to Rt. #189 (Shelburne). At end of Rt. #189, turn right onto Rt. #7 North. Go to 5th road on right, Proctor Ave., and turn right. Go through neighborhood to school at end of road.
Rutland Middle School – If you come down Rte 7 from Burlington – right before the Junction of 4 and 7 there is a right hand side street – Kendall Ave. Take this right and go through 2 stop signs. School is on the right, and the field is behind the school. If you are coming over Rte 4, at the junction of 4 and 7, take a right. 1-2 side streets up, take a left onto Kendall Ave. Through 2 stop signs and you will get to the school.
Rutland Ice Rink – The Rutland Regional Fieldhouse at the Diamond Run Mall is located at 46 Diamond Run Mall Place, Rt-7 South in Rutland, Vermont. Take Rt-4 West. Turn left at Rt-7 S (Rt-7 and Rt-4 are the same for several miles). The entrance to the mall is at the intersection of Rt-7 and Rt-4 W. Turn left to enter the mall. Proceed a short distance to the road that circles the mall and turn left. Proceed approx. 0.4 mile around the north end of the mall to the arena on the left.
Sharon Academy – Interstate 89, Exit 2, take right off ramp. Turn right on Rte. 14. Drive through Sharon Village, 1.5 miles. Right turn at Sharon Academy and Town Garage sign. Right at fork, continue up the hill, fields in back of school.
Sleepy Hollow – Interstate 89 to Exit 11 for Richmond. Take US Route 2 east to town of Richmond. At traffic light, turn right onto Bridge Street. Bridge St becomes Huntington Rd. South Burlington High School and Middle School – I-89 North to Exit #14E. At end of ramp bear right onto Dorset St. Go past University Mall. School is on the left just before Kennedy Drive.
Springfield High School – Take I-89 South to I-91 South to Exit #7. Go right off the ramp and into town. At the blinking light, (Sunoco Gas Station on your left) take a sharp left. Go Approx. 1 mile and the high school is on a hill on your left.
Football, tennis, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball are played at Riverside School – go straight through the downtown section and past an old mill on your left. At the next intersection with traffic lights, take a left turn towards McDonalds Restaurant. Continue straight through the set of lights, past McDonalds, across a bridge, and then take a right turn to the Riverside Gym and other playing fields.
St. Albans – Houghton Park – Take Exit 19. Go through the 4 way (the Collins Perley Sports Complex is on the left) and all the way down to bottom of the hill. Take a right and then take your first left at the next traffic light (if you pass the high school, you’ve gone too far). Go all the way down and at the stop sign Houghton Park is on the right.
St. Johnsbury Academy – Rte 2 East to St. Johnsbury – Coming into town, take first fork to the Right at the sign onto Main Street. The field house, gymnasium and fields are on your right.
For baseball, tennis, soccer and lacrosse: Before the fork (approx. 200 yards), take first right onto Barker Ave.
Ice Hockey is played at Lyndon Institute.
Stowe High School – I-89 North to Waterbury (exit 10). Off exit onto Rte 100 north. Approximately 3.9 miles after the Cold Hollow Cider Mill, take a left onto Moscow Rd. Follow Moscow Rd past the general store, going a total of 1.5 miles. Take a right onto Barrows Rd. From there it is 1.3 miles to Stowe HS on the right.
Ice Hockey is played at JACKSON ARENA – facility is in Stowe Village – from above continue on Rte 100 North into Stowe Village. Turn Right on Park Street. Bear left at Elementary School for arena.
Thetford Academy – I-89 South to Exit #1. Take Interstate #91 North to Exit #14. Turn left at stop sign off ramp. Go up hill to square on left. Turn left – go about ¼ mile; school will be on the right. Parking: Turn right, go up hill, bear to the left and start back down hill.
Trapps Ski Touring Center (Nordic Skiing) – From I-89 take the Rte.100 exit (10) toward Rte. 2 / Waterbury/Stowe. Turn right onto Rte. 100 and continue 7 miles. Turn left onto Moscow Road and continue 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Trapp Hill Road. Watch for signs.
Twinfield Union High School – Take Rt. #2 East towards St. Johnsbury. Go through East Montpelier and Plainfield on Rt. #2. Sign on right side for Twinfield Union School.
Vergennes Middle and High School – I-89 North to Rt. #189. Turn left onto Rt. #7 South. In Vergennes you will see a shopping center on right. Turn right onto Plank Rd. School on right.
Williamstown High & Middle School – I-89 South to Exit #5. End of ramp turn left onto Rt. #64. We suggest that you DO NOT TRAVEL THIS WAY IN WINTER. Be careful!! The downhill grade is quite steep. USE LOW GEAR!! At bottom of hill, turn left at sign for high school. Go past the Williamstown Elementary School to top of hill. High School is on the right. OR – IF ROADS ARE BAD – I-89 South to Exit #6 ( South Barre). At bottom on hill (very long beltway – several miles) turn right onto Rt. #14 South. Go into Village of Williamstown; turn right onto Rt. #64. Turn right at sign for schools and follow directions as above. This route is a bit longer but a lot safer in the winter.
Windsor High School – Take I-89 South to I-91 South to Exit #9. Go right off the ramp onto Route #5 South. Drive Approx. 5 miles into Windsor, at the first stop light, take a right turn onto State Street. Travel about 600 yards, and the High School is on your left. To get to the athletic fields, from the high school turn left on State Street about 300 yards turn left on Rte 44 and go about 1/2 mile to Fairgrounds. Fields are located there.
Winooski High School – I-89 North to Exit #16. Turn left at end of ramp. Go to 2nd traffic light, turn left. The school will be directly in front of you.
Woodstock Union High School – Take I-89 South to Exit #1. Turn right off ramp onto Route 4 West. Travel approximately 10 miles to downtown Woodstock. Continue on Rt 4 West out of town for another 2.3 miles – school is on your left. Union Arena is located on the grounds of the Woodstock Union High School, just 1½ miles west of the Village of Woodstock on Route 4.
